Artist's Description

Redpepperland is a macro photograph that was shot using a 90mm f/2.8 lens and
then was refined and polished with the help of Photoshop. I use macro photography
to produce images that have a high level of realism that also express a sense of
fantasy.
Macro photography is a wonderful way to capture fine detail of an image that cannot be seen with the naked eye One of the most important aspects of
macro photography is texture. Lighting is also as important as texturing, lighting is crucial for producing the most appealing textures and patterns possible.
With my art I strive to create and produce invented landscapes, environments, and places never before encountered or visited.

About John Stephens

John Stephens

I began my Art career at Walt Disney World, in Florida, as a portrait artist. My main interest, in the Arts, has always been painting, photography, and recently digital art. I believe that Art, such as a painting, should be like a beautiful memory, a golden moment in time, which expresses how creative and wonderful life can be. Art strives for form, and hopes for beauty.
